I will be having an open house tomorrow (February 14th) at 200 Cezanne Drive in Richfield Place from 1 to 3pm. Come view this beautiful, like new home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, only minutes from Burke Elementary.
This home features beautiful wood floors in living and master bedroom, ceramic tiles in Kitchen, dinning, bathrooms and laundry room, granite tile counter tops in kitchen and stainless steel appliances (including a wine cooler!). The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and a walk in pantry while the living room features built-in book shelves on each side of the fireplace and a large computer nook with cabinetry matching that of the kitchen.
The master suite is located in the back of the house and features separate tub and shower, double sinks and a large walk in closet. Even the laundry has lots of storage space! No doubt that this home has lots of extras to offer along with a wonderful floor plan and a nice size back yard.
Come view 200 Cezanne Sunday, February 14th between 1 and 3pm. You won’t regret it!

This Month in Real Estate reports that 51% of buyers are first time home buyers. The tax credit will soon expire for them and it is estimated that this percentage will go up in the next couple of months. Remember that to take advantage of the tax credit, you must have an accepted contract on a home before April 30th.
I know I’m a little late with this but here’s the recap for Lafayette and Acadiana home sales in 2009. Sales were slightly up in December with 170 homes sold in Lafayette parish and 249 in all of Acadiana.
If we look at 2008 and compare it to 2009, we see that the same number of homes were sold in December in both years. In 2009, the total number of homes sold in Lafayette parish was 2270 and in 2008, it was 2287. The difference in terms of homes sold was therefore less than 1%.
